Applied Behavior Analysis

In the Department of Health and Behavior Studies

Degrees and Certification

MA graduates are eligible for certification and/or licensure in four areas, provided that relevant oursework and experience requirements are met:  

1) Dual Certification by the State of New York as teacher of regular and special education (birth to grade 6),

2) NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst,

3) Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and

4) CABAS® Board Certification at various levels of competency (Behavior Analyst Teacher I, Behavior Analyst Teacher II, Behavior Analyst Master Teacher)

Doctoral students who have completed the teacher ranks are eligible for the CABAS® Advanced Board Certification as Assistant Behavior Analyst, Associate Behavior Analyst, and Senior Behavior Analyst.
