The Student Development and Activities Office (SDA) offeres students the opportunity to network among peers with similar interests, as well as build a stronger sense of community.

The Student Development & Activities Office is located in Thorndike 160. Office hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm; Friday 9am-5pm.

Coalition of Latino/a Scholars

Coalition of Latino/a Scholars (CLS) is committed to supporting the growing number of Latino/a scholars through active outreach, recruitment and mentoring. CLS is dedicated to the enrichment of academic perspectives and promotion of policies and research that address issues relevant to Latino/a schooling and to our diverse community.




Association of Latin American Students (ALAS)

The Association of Latin American Students (ALAS) is a student organization located in Teachers College, Columbia University, in New York City. As an organization that aims at creating academic, cultural, and social networks within the Latin American community across time and place, ALAS offers a wide range of activities to accomplish this mission such as an annual conference, social and cultural events, symposia, workshops, an online discussion forum, and a weekly newsletter.
