Innovation Award (INA 2017) - Tonight at TC’s Smith Learning Theater

Tonight in TC’s new Camilla and George Smith Learning Theater, the first Innovation Award (INA 2017), part of TC’s EdTech Initiative, will take place.

Steering committee members Dr. Yoo Kyung Chang, Dr. Jin Kuwata, and Dr. Joey Lee -- all Lecturers in the Communication, Media, and Learning Technologies Design (CMLTD) Program -- worked with students from TC, Columbia Business School, SIPA, the School of Visual Arts (SVA), and the Parsons School of Design since September 2017 on developing their ideas. Students will pitch twelve projects that focus on “an original idea, product, method, process, or model that can make a positive impact on learning and technology.”

Judges from non-profit organizations, academia, and private businesses will decide which groups will receive the Best Pitch, Best Research, and the Overall Winner Awards. Attendees will also vote on which group will receive the Audience Award.

A wrap-up of the event will be featured soon in the MST News.
