EEG Profiles In People with Functional Movement Disorders Before And After A Single Bout Of Hatha Yoga And Moderate-vigorous Intensity Aerobic Exercise: A Pilot Feasibility Study
What is the goal of the study?
To explore how yoga and aerobic exercise affect brain activity related to attention and movement in people with Functional Movement Disorder (FMD).
Participation involves:
Two sessions on separate days: one yoga and one aerobic exercise. EEG recordings are taken before and after each session.
What will you do?
Complete a simple reaching task and resting EEG recordings before and after each activity session.
What will you benefit?
While there is no direct benefit, your participation will contribute to research that may inform future treatments for FMD.
