Clinical Intervention Studies

Clinical Intervention Studies

At the Neurorehabilitation Research Lab, our researchers are passionate about thoroughly exploring methods to improve physical functioning in people with neurodegenerative diseases and disorders. Our studies evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of exercise and physical therapy interventions in Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and stroke. We also collaborate with Stony Brook University and the National Dance Institute on evaluation of the DREAM program, and inclusive dance program in Harlem. The NRL is committed to finding and testing effective interventions that can help individuals improve their motor control, functional abilities and quality of life.
