OSA Welcome Workshops: Graduate Writing at TC

OSA Orientation Welcome Workshops: Participate in informative and interactive sessions, designed to assist new Teachers College students begin their TC journey on the right track. Sessions are topic-driven, and may feature current students and College staff. Early arrival encouraged, as space is limited. While workshops are tailored for new admits, all students are invited to attend.

This workshop will provide an overview of citation, strategies for overcoming writer’s block, and other general writing tips. Facilitated by representatives from the Graduate Writing Center (GWC), a sub-area within the Office of Student Affairs.

Welcome Workshops are topic-driven introductory sessions, designed to acclimate newly admitted students to Teachers College. Invited facilitators include various student services areas within the College. While workshops are tailored for new admits, all students are invited to attend.

1:00 pm Student Health Insurance Learn the basics of Columbia Health and Columbia Student Medical Insurance. Information about enrollment, waiver requests, fees, coverage, and voluntary plans will be covered. Facilitated by representatives from Insurance & Immunization Records (IIR), a sub-area within the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), and Columbia Health (*tentatively).
