Please describe a time that you felt happy to be a teacher.
The day I felt happy about being a teacher was the day when one of the lower classes teacher was absent and I was asked to attend his class. I went there and had an interesting lesson of maths. After the use of sticks as teaching aides I left the class with an assignment. As I was introducing a new topic in class, seven of the students stood at the door and when I signaled her to come in she handed me her exercise book demanding it to be marked. I marked her book so as not to disappoint her. She happily ran out and suddenly they flocked to the class each demanding their books to be marked. I tried to convince them after the lesson but they began to make angry annoyed faces and others began to cry. I decided to end my lesson and mark their books. After 20 minutes I had marked their books and they were all excited to go home. The follow day their teacher was back but they came to me informing me that I should go and teach. I sadly told them that their teacher was back but others were not contended. On that day I was very happy about being a teacher because I felt that I had made some impact and had changed at least one life.
