ANNOUNCEMENT: SPECIAL PLENARY SESSION!
Inauguration Day, January 20th, marks a remarkable shift in our nation and our communities. It represents a transfer of power, a new cultural paradigm. As psychologists and educators, we also feel this day in nuanced, visceral ways. It marks a tremendous call to action: a plea for fiercer activism, more critical pedagogy, and bolder systems of support.
It calls us to come together and ask, "What now?"
To explore next steps, at this year's conference, Winter Roundtable is holding a special plenary session: "What Now? Working Toward Social Justice in a New Political Climate." The plenary will close out of conference on Saturday, February 25th from 3:30-4:30.
Panelists will include:
Dr. Thomas Parham
Dr. Melanie Brewster
Dr. Rebecca Toporek
Dr. Will Liu
Dr. Silvia Mazzula
Dr. Rockey Robbins
We can't wait to share space with you all and talk critically about how to move forward in a new political climate.
