Below you will find a variety of resources for promoting wellness. Some of them might be available through the Columbia Health Fee only. Feel free to contact the Student Support Services team for questions about any resources.

TC CARES Act: Student Emergency Relief Funding

As of June 5, 2020, eligible domestic students may apply for grants to determine eligibility in accordance with the CARES Act.  

TC Student Emergency Fund

Find out more about the Student Emergency Fund offered by the Vice Provost for Student Affairs to all currently enrolled Teachers College students (including international students) in need.

Columbia CPS - Counseling and Psychological Services*

CPS offers support for mental health care and emotional wellbeing to the Columbia community.

Safe and confidential spaces for all students where finding a community that relates and identifies with you and your ongoing issues or struggles.

Confidential resource that assists with solving problems and conflicts available for the TC community.

Alice! Health Promotion & Education

Health education Columbia portal with information, tools, and tips regarding wellness. Topics include substance use, nutrition and physical activity, relationships, sexual & reproductive health, sleep disturbances and more.

SVR - Sexual Violence Response

Confidential support through crisis counseling, advocacy, prevention, and outreach focused on interpersonal violence and harassment. 24/7 support available.

Self-Help Tools

Coping tools, chat lines, websites, apps and more to help and support you in taking care of yourself in an efficient and practical way.

Columbia University Fitness Center

As a registered TC student, you may access to the Dodge Fitness Center, Columbia's Gym. You can use your TC ID to enter the facilities, located behind the Joe's Coffee shop on main campus.
