Teacher Sustainability through the Eyes of Mélida Pérez-Maldonado

Learn about TR@TC and teacher sustainability through the eyes of Mélida Pérez-Maldonado. She shares how teaching yoga beyond the classroom has grounded her during a challenging year of virtual teaching during the pandemic. She also reflects on creating community by maintaining and practicing healthy habits through yoga and self-care.

Teacher Sustainability

We understand how important it is to provide educators with space and resources to ensure a sustainable career in teaching. Therefore, our mission and vision center on encouraging career longevity. We are grateful for our facilitators, who support us in providing a space for teachers to congregate and fill their cups with wellness, particularly our programming partners at Success In Motion, who offer various stress management, physical fitness, and community building workshops.
