    biographical information

    As strategic change executive at IBM's corporate headquarters in Armonk, NY, Dr. Bazigos holds global responsibility for a number of internal and external initiatives related to workforce policy, effectiveness, skills and expertise.
    In prior roles at IBM, he had responsibility for enterprise wide workforce optimization, productivity strategies, and HR strategy and metrics. He transformed IBM's workforce scorecard, designed and launched "Manager Portal," the global one-stop resource shop for 39,000 managers worldwide, "ThinkPlace," the global site for 4000,000 employees to collaborate on innovation, and invented patent-pending technology and management processes to promote intelligent internal employee movement between job roles and careers. 

    Dr. Bazigos came to IBM from its acquisition of PricewaterhouseCoopers's consulting division in 2002, where he was a worldwide director for client globalization strategy. Before that, he was president of Beta Consulting Group, and a dean and professor at Pace University. He has consulted to top management teams of Global 500 corporations, addressed business audiences in all major world regions, and published in the organizational and educational professional literature.  

    Before his career in the private sector, Dr. Bazigos was a dean and professor at Pace University in New York, where he became the founding director of the Center for Urban Education, now in its 21st year.

  •               Philip Morris Foundation Teacher Opportunity Corps  to recruit, prepare, and place teacher candidates from historically underrepresented minorities in teaching, with a special emphasis on clinical experiences in schools with high concentrations of at-risk pupils ($50,000 request pending review; sole author).
