Web Conferencing with Adobe Connect

Adobe Connect is a web conferencing server that allows people to interact with each other using Internet connections from diverse locations coming together in a virtual meeting room. 

Coupled with the Global Connect teleconferencing system, the Connect server allows synchronous virtual classes and meetings to operate using streaming audio and video and presentations (e.g. PowerPoint) shared from computer desktops.

Connect also has the option to record all sessions and presentations for later review.

To run an effective class or meeting, computer and Internet browser guidelines are recommended when using Adobe Connect:

  • Computer & Internet Requirements for MAC and PC
  • Computer and Internet Requirements for Company/Corporate Computer
  • Anti-virus Software and Plug-ins
  • Adobe Connect Computer Diagnosis
