Course Description:
During the second term of this online class, students to continue to explore social venture creation through the cognitive and spiritual pillars of virtue, mindfulness, and knowledge. In order to solve today's major global and social challenges, we must create new business and social venture models that not only solve the targeted problems, but also do so in a sustainable and responsible manner. Throughout the second semester, we continue to intersect the venture creation process – now with a focus on product design, marketing strategy, financial planning, and launch readiness - with specific cognitive-behavioral elements including internal and external attentiveness, selflessness, knowledge integration, interpersonal networking leading to sustainable ecosystem development. Students continue to work on the social venture project started in the Fall. Now the focus is on execution and preparation for launch or new business growth.
