Description: The Center for Sustainable Futures, VRC, and the Sustainability Task Force invite you to participate in the 2nd Annual Teachers College Sustainability Showcase!

This event will bring together TC students, faculty, and staff to explore fresh and diverse perspectives on sustainability across education, health, and psychology. Participants will engage with multiple ways to imagine, communicate, and embody sustainability, fostering transdisciplinary conversations while expanding how we think, feel, and act in response to environmental challenges.

Submissions may draw from a range of scholarly, creative, and practice-based approaches,  across disciplines and fields. We welcome submissions in three categories:
Empirical research – including, but not limited to, quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, visual research, multimodal research, arts-based research, action and participatory research.
Creative work – such as arts-based exhibitions, visual essays, poetry, painting, music and performance (e.g., singing, dancing, acting), creative movement, and film.
Practice-based projects – including curriculum design and intervention, community engagement initiatives, campus excursions, and initiatives to enhance sustainability at TC.

Across all forms of contribution, we encourage multimodal expression, whether conveyed through words, visuals, movement, sound, interaction, performances, or embodied experience. At the core of this gathering is a guiding question: How can our work foster conversations about sustainability for social change and reach different audiences in the public sphere, beyond academic boundaries?
