Dance for PD Datavyu Project

The Dance for PD Datavyu project looked at pre-recorded videos of Dance for PD classes at Mark Morris Dance Group in Brooklyn, NY, to see the “active ingredients” in the classes that made them effective. Vdeo coding software, Datavyu, was used to time code each part of the class to analyze the durations and number of movements within the classes. The goal of this project was to provide therapists and dance instructors with the most effective forms of therapy so they can provide the best care for their patients.
