Student Conduct

Teachers College (TC) is dedicated to fostering a community where all members understand their rights and responsibilities. The Student Conduct team plays a crucial role in this effort, ensuring that processes are fair, just, and uphold due process for every student.

The Student Conduct team serves as a primary resource, guiding students and the broader community on College rules, regulations, policies, and operating procedures, as well as relevant federal, state, and local laws. Our goal is to advocate for students by ensuring they are fully aware of expectations and policies, and are empowered to comply with them.

Beyond providing information, the team also acts as a vital referral source, connecting students with essential campus resources like Student Support & Advocacy and the Ombuds, or other appropriate parties, to collaboratively resolve issues.

TC is continuously refining its policies and procedures to meet the evolving needs of its diverse community members, particularly concerning daily operations within academic and student affairs. Student Conduct at TC emphasizes critical thinking, promotes personal growth, and subsequently plays an active role in fostering a respectful and accountable community.
