Imagine what TC could do if everyone supported the Teachers College Annual Fund

In these uncertain times, the Teachers College Annual Fund plays an ever increasing role in the financial stability of the College. The Annual Fund supports everyone and everything we do. TC has only a few revenue sources, and the Annual Fund is an incredibly important one–it's our bedrock, our foundation. It supports us day to day. Annual Fund unrestricted dollars enable TC to plan, to budget resources, to think big.

The Annual Fund contributes the income equal to what would be generated by $30 million in endowment. If we didn't have the Annual Fund to close the gap between income and the operating budget, the College would have to make some painful choices. Relying solely on tuition increases unfairly burdens our students. It is more important than ever that we increase the amount the Annual Fund raises each year."

Please remember: Although TC is under the Columbia University umbrella, it is financially independent and does not benefit from Columbia University's endowment or annual giving.
