We are one of a kind, the only graduate school of education in the U.S. with the breadth of knowledge in education, health and psychology to tackle the difficult issues facing the world today. TC is where the big ideas are born and where interdisciplinary research is already igniting change in the way we think about learning. The Teachers College legacy of great thinkers and doers includes James Russell, John Dewey, Lawrence Cremin, Maxine Greene and many other greats whose careers embody the Teachers College tradition of research and practice and whose influence has been profound.
