Advocacy@Teachers Colleges aims to, in the words of Professor Yolanda Sealey-Ruiz, “create spaces to realize one's own power.” Workshops and programming are done in collaboration with offices and departments across the College, including the Office of Government Relations, which is TC’s liaison to city, state, and federal government. Led by Matthew J. Camp, the Office cultivates relationships with government officials, develops and secures funding for new education initiatives.
