AI in real classrooms: applications of artificial intelligence in education --- now and into the future
AI is starting to make ways into schools, but what do the these “real world” applications in education look like? The second panel will examine the existing and future uses of AI in education: how students, teachers and families are being exposed to and how schools are preparing for it. Based on these on-the-ground examples, questions will be addressed about what to expect: What is the current stage of technological development? How could teachers use AI in their work? How can we educate children to navigate in a world surrounded by AI tools and devices? Can AI tools help children express their ideas and achieve their aspirations as citizens? Additionally, the panel will look beyond the traditional classroom, exploring AI in early childhood education, lifelong learning and higher education.
