LEARN TO EXPERIMENT
Explore and experiment with the labs at the Digital Futures Institute (DFI). DFI is a hub for digital innovation across disciplines to advance more just social futures. Driven by research, pedagogy, and public engagement, the institute works to provide excellence in course design, media creation, and immersive learning experiences. Additionally, the Games Research Lab (EGGPLANT) is a space where gamers and non-gamers alike can explore the richness of game-based play – from tabletop games to VR headsets.
RESEARCH WHAT MATTERS
In the programs in Communication, Media, & Learning Technologies Design, our students are doing the research. Doctoral student Blake Danzig brings the community into focus as she works with two local middle schools on understanding humans' connection to nature. Professor Nathan Holbert examines play and how we can create spaces for young people to experiment and create. Whatever your passion, TC will help you explore (or find) it.
