A study by Dr. Oren Pizmony-Levy and PhD candidate Hyungoo Lee analyzes the mission statements of LGBTQ+ NGOs to find commonalities and differences in local, regional, and global contexts. Utilizing world culture theory and local culture approach as a conceptual framework, the study leverages a global survey of LGBT Youth-Serving NGOs to compare these mission statements. From this survey between 2014 and 2017, 271 NGOs from 102 countries provided their mission statements. Learn more about the study findings in the video above.
