The Matilda Levy Paper Award on Environmental Sustainability
Established by her family Tel Aviv Jaffo and New York City in 2022, the Matilda Levy Paper Award on Environmental Sustainability is awarded each Spring to a Teachers College student whose work mirrors Levy’s belief that education could help solve adversity and the toughest problems. Recognizing climate change and its impact on marginalized communities as a crucial problem facing the world today, women, people of color, members of the LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities and those from marginalized religions are especially encouraged to submit their work for consideration and recognition.
