Jade is a first-year Master's student in Motor Learning and Control at Teachers College and brings a background in Biomedical Engineering, having completed her BS at Syracuse University in Spring 2024. Jade is Originally from Albany, New York. She is passionate about developing innovative rehabilitation solutions. Her thesis focuses on creating a motor-controlled ankle-foot orthosis to help stroke survivors generate soleus muscle activity in their paretic leg while walking.
Jade's career goal is to become an engineer who designs rehabilitation equipment to improve mobility and independence for individuals with neurological conditions.
Jade enjoys spending time outdoors, especially fishing, hiking, skiing, and swimming. She also loves dogs!
