The Augmented Reality Study in Parkinson’s Disease (ARPD) investigates how new augmented reality (AR) technology can help clinicians develop innovative interventions to target more complex issues in PD, for example, adaptive walking in crowded environments. Without the use of this technology, clinicians are limited to the clinical environment and adapting interventions for the individual with PD is far more challenging. We hope to explore how AR can rectify this. This study is currently in development and is not actively recruiting.
