A. Lin Goodwin
Principal Investigator

A. Lin Goodwin is the original architect and founding Director and Principal Investigator (PI) for TR@TC. She is thrilled to be taking up the role of PI again and working with the outstanding TR@TC team on preparing exceptional teachers for New York City schools. TR@TC graduates have been making a positive difference in the lives of urban youth since 2010 through meaningful and student-centered curriculum, a pedagogy of justice and care, and steadfast advocacy for their students' well-being and success. Lin could not be more excited to contribute to this important endeavor and support teacher learning and development.

Suzanne Pratt
Co-Director

Suzanne Pratt has been working with the Teaching Residents at Teachers College program since 2011. In this time, she has held multiple positions including Residency Supervisor, Induction Mentor, Induction Coordinator, and Graduate Assistant. In addition to her work with the program, Suzanne is also completing her doctoral studies at Teachers College.

Grace Sierra
Induction Coordinator

Grace Sierra is the Induction Coordinator at TR@TC. She was a graduate from the first ever TR@TC cohort and she has also been a Mentor teacher and a Residency Supervisor.  Before joining the TR@TC team, Grace taught & coached teachers in NYC public schools.

Kathleen Boyle
Fieldwork Coordinator

Kathleen Boyle began her time with TR@TC in 2010 as a Teaching Resident. She went on to teach in NYC schools for the next 11 years. During her time in the classroom, she continued to partner with TR@TC in the completion of action research, as a Residency Supervisor, and as a Mentor Teacher.  Prior to teaching, Kathleen kept the lights on at one small children’s theater and many big rehearsal studios.

Lisani Ramirez
Special Project Manager

Lisani Ramirez first joined TR@TC as a student as part of the Citizen Scientist summer program. Then, after two years of being a student, he was offered a spot as a teaching assistant.  Lisani has remained a part of the program, mostly helping teachers, students, and residents and even taking the role of a photographer/videographer. Now, Lisani works as the program’s “Special Project Manager”. Ever since Lisani came into the program, he never left.

Program Administrator

 

Brandasia Arnold began working at TR@TC in 2024 as the Program Administrator. Prior to her start at TR@TC Brandasia taught PK3-4th grade and was the Office Administrator for a charter school. Brandasia has brought over all the tools needed to be a wonderful asset to TR@TC.
