OverviewIf you plan to use any of the classroom's audio-visual systems, you should inform Media Services in advance, so we can dispatch a Classroom Support Technician to unlock the classroom equipment rack and assist you with your presentation needs. The preferred manner to request assistance from our Classroom Support Staff is by filling our Media Manager Request Form, if you like you can also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or just call us at 212 678-3822. Or if you prefer the personal touch please drop by our 149HM Help Desk, one of our Admins would be happy to assist you with your request.
All Classroom Technology requests require a minimum of one day's notice. Classroom Technology requests for Videoconferencing / Lecture Capturing require a minimum of one week's notice, last minute requests will definitely not be honored. To arrange either a video conference or lecture capture visit us at our 149HM Help Desk or call us at ext. 3822 or you can use our Media Manager Request Form.
To arrange for event technical support in Cowin Center Auditorium, Milbank Chapel, the Grace Dodge Room, or other TC public spaces please contact Kofi Asare well in advance of your expected event at ext. 3822 or email email@example.com. Please be aware that event support will involve fees and additional charges which will be billed to the requesting department or organization.
All equipment loans must be picked up and returned to the 149 Media Helpdesk by the users. Equipment available for user pick up and return include: All types of Apple adapters; VGA, DVI, HDMI cables for laptop connections; assorted A-V cables and adapters; external DVD players; digital voice recorders; boom boxes; USB web-cams; portable PA systems with hard-wired or wireless microphones; USB microphones; Powerpoint remotes, and digital cameras. Media Services also has Laptops, Apple Ipads, and portable LCD projectors available exclusively for TC Faculty for off-campus use.
