TC One of the Top Graduate Schools in the U.S.
The U.S. News & World Report special issue on America's Best Graduate Schools recently debuted on newsstands everywhere. The issue contains this year's ranking of the top graduate schools in the U.S. For education, Teachers College, Columbia University placed second, right behind the top ranked Harvard University.

In the specialty categories, TC made a strong showing.
TC placed first in Curriculum/Instruction;
second in Elementary Teacher Education;
second in Social/Philosophical Foundations;
fourth in Secondary Teacher Education;
fifth in Administration/Supervision;
fifth in Higher Education Administration;
eighth in Educational Psychology; and
tenth in Special Education.
