Norma Fredrick Fischer, 91, the wife of President Emeritus John H. Fischer, died on March 22nd at Fox Hill Village, their retirement home in Westwood, Massachusetts.

Norma Fredrick Fischer, 91, the wife of President Emeritus John H. Fischer, died on March 22nd at Fox Hill Village, their retirement home in Westwood, Massachusetts. For the last seven years she had lived with the progressive effects of Alzheimers disease, spending the final five in Clark House, the Fox Hill nursing home. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, John; her two sons, David Hackett, now the Warren Professor of American History at Brandeis, and Miles Pennington, a corporate lawyer now semi-retired but still in active practice in New York; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
