Education Diplomacy

Professor Mun Tsang spoke at the education roundtable of the Conference on China-U.S. Relations, held in Beijing in November. Tsang, who promotes education exchanges through TC's Center on Chinese Education, argued that not only the governments of the two nations, but also individuals and institutions, must engage with one another to ensure ongoing positive relations. Attended by leaders from government, business and academe, the Conference was organized in part by the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation and the George Bush School of Government and Public Service. Tsang briefed former President Bush and other senior U.S. government officials about TC's collaborative efforts with China.
