Samuel Lucas to Deliver First Sachs Lecture Today

Samuel Lucas, Professor of Sociology at the University of California at Berkeley and TC's 2010-2011 Julius and Rosa Sachs Lecturer, will deliver the first of his three Sachs Lectures today in Milbank Chapel from 2-4 pm. The first lecture is titled "On Exposure to Discrimination." Dr. Lucas has examined the stratification in high schools and the effects of discrimination in the United States.
