Thinking Outside the Box: A Year of Innovation at TC

Our 2014 annual report shows how Teachers College is leading the way in innovation while creating exciting, new opportunities for professionals and scholars in education, psychology, and health.

This report spans the world of learning and ideas and includes:

  • Our new initiatives in STEM education, educational data mining, creative technologies, global mental health;
  • Game-changing accomplishments by faculty in each of our 10 academic departments, as well as by our Offices for School and Community Partnership and Diversity and Community Affairs;
  • Progress of Where The Future Comes First, our historic $300 million campaign -- the largest ever undertaken by a graduate school of education; and
  • The inspiration of O. Roger Anderson, our fifty-year faculty member continuing to lead the way in applying cognitive and neuroscience theory to research on science learning and thinking.

We think you'll agree that TC -- and Dr. Anderson -- are charting exciting new paths ... with so many more to come.
