Safety Training Program
Teachers College goal is to create, maintain and enhance a safe and healthful environment for all individuals associated with the institution including our students, faculty and employees. To assist in this effort, the Office of Environmental Health & Safety provides health and safety training, information and compliance assistance.
An education and training program is one of the most necessary and basic elements of an environmental health & safety program. Education and training are essential to communicate practical understanding to employees, faculty and students. Our safety training program addresses health and safety responsibilities, provides accident prevention information and augments compliance with all applicable environmental health and safety standards. We think you'll find our web-based training user-friendly, engaging and convenient. All you need is an internet connection. It's self-paced, bookmarks your progress and gives the user flexibility in scheduling.
Individual training for any of our course offerings can be arranged so please call for details. We ask that those interested receive permission from their supervisor before registering for training.
