OSA & ORS presents: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Speech Competition

The Office of Residential Services (ORS) and the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) would like to invite all TC students to participate in our annual  speech competition honoring the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 

Speeches should focus on our theme for the event “Keeping the Dream Alive” and should explain what we can do to contribute to Dr. King’s vision for justice and civil rights for ALL people. Speeches may relate to his achievements and philosophy of nonviolent opposition to social injustice, as well as other related issues, such as religion, class, gender, age, sexual orientation and ability. All speeches must incorporate the theme and cannot exceed 6 minutes. The winner of the speech competition will receive a grand prize!

More information about how to enter the competition will be posted late-January.
