Welcome to TC for the Spring 2009 semester! 

ASWG is thrilled to have hosted the Student Symposium on African Education  on February 27, 2009.  Click here to check out the program and download the PowerPoint presentations of our participants.

Earlier this semester we discussed “The House at Sugar Beach” by Helene Cooper at our annual ASWG Book Breakfast, and enjoyed a Senegalese feast at Africa Kine for an evening social.  There are many great events still to come! 

We welcome graduate students from all disciplines to join us for our monthly meetings and upcoming events (which are posted here). We also encourage you to join our listserv by emailing us at aswg@tc.edu so you can stay informed about our meetings and events as they happen.
