LANSI-T
Language and Social Interaction in Teaching (LANSI-T) is a research group for MA and doctoral students who are interested in research related to interaction in classroom settings. Teaching is a uniquely human endeavor, and our work involves discovering and articulating the moment-to-moment skills teachers and students use as they learn together. We meet weekly to analyze video data and discuss pressing issues in classroom interaction research. As a community, we also work together to develop professional skills such as conference proposals, creating research questions, and writing articles. LANSI-T meets weekly, and all are welcome!
