Leo is in his second year of the master's program in Applied Physiology. He graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University. After graduating, he returned to China and worked for two years as a physical therapist assistant in an orthopedic department. He is interested in how to use motor imagery as a technique to improve fine motor skill and facilitates the rehabilitation process in population with neuron disorder, so he is eager to implement this theory in a clinical setting, but also assist athletes in enhancing their sports performance through the use of motor imagery.

Leo enjoys playing music and sports outside of school; he enjoys DJing and playing badminton, tennis, and swimming.
