Meghan Bjalme-Evans

Meghan is a first year graduate student in the Neuroscience and Education program at Teachers College. She received her Bachelors from Binghamton University in Integrative Neuroscience and Classical Civilization in 2020. For the last three years she has worked as a Research Assistant, most recently in a special education school focused on the neurorehabilitation and education of children with traumatic brain injury and other brain based disorders. Her research interests are in tracing biomarkers involved in neuroplastic processes and the effect of neurorehabilitative efforts on plasticity in neurodegenerative disease. In her free time, Meghan enjoys exploring museums, crocheting, or spending time with her cat and her piano!
