MEND HD

The Digital Measures for Clinical Trial Endpoints in Huntington’s Disease, or MEND-HD, study is a fully remote, digital health study in HD. This study investigates the utilization of wearable technologies, such as smart watches, to capture meaningful changes in HD symptom progression. Digital measures reduce patient burden in symptom reporting during clinical trials for disease modifying drugs. Additionally, objective outcomes that can be captured by these devices can provide a better understanding of drug efficacy. The study is completely virtual allowing participants from across the United States to take part.
