Our work has focused on answering 4 research questions, all with the same goal of better understanding how students with disabilities use extended time accommodations. Click on each of the questions below for more details on (a) the research methods that we used and (b) our results. 

1. What predicts eligibility for extended time accommodations? What predicts use of those accommodations?

2. What predicts how long a student will spend working on an individual test item?

3. How do students with disabilities (who were given extra time) differ, in their test-taking behavior, from their nondisabled peers?

4. Does test-taking behavior predict performance differently in students with and without disabilities?
