From Earth Institute Teach Series, we are excited to announce their next event will be on December 5 from 10:00am – 1:30pm ET.

E.I. Teach began this past summer as a way to engage K-12 educators and provide them with meaningful science learning opportunities and cutting-edge content. E.I.'s summer session focused on climate change, and for the next installment, they are focusing on the Science of COVID-19. The half-day event will have an emphasis on bringing content into classrooms and schools about the origins of the virus, its impact on teaching and learning, and what’s next as we consider vaccinations and immunity. While many of us are getting COVID-19 content from news and media sources, the Earth Institute wanted to connect educators and administrators directly with their scientific experts who are involved in this work. The goal of this session is to provide education professionals with trusted information and data that can be brought into the classroom and other education spaces.

The workshop will take place on Saturday, December 5 from 10:00am – 1:30pm ET. K-12 educators and administrators working in both formal and informal learning environments are encouraged to attend.
