What NYC Educators Think about Climate Change Education? Presentation at the Luosuo River Forum of Science Education Forum, China

The Luosuo River Forum of Science Education Forum is an annual meeting that brings together educators from across China to discuss new trends, technology, resources, and methods in education. The Forum is organized by the Bureau of Science Communication (Chinese Academy of Sciences), Science Communication Department, China Association for Science and Technology, China Youth Daily, China Botanical Garden Alliance, Center for Science Communication (Chinese Academy of Sciences), Kunming Institute of Botany (Chinese Academy of Sciences) and Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (Chinese Academy of Sciences). In 2021, the Forum was held online under the theme: How education will enhance biodiversity conservation after the Year 2020?

Our team at the Center for Sustainable Futures was invited to participate in the Forum and to report on our research on climate change education in New York City. With support from the organizers, our presentation was translated to Mandarin (with subtitles). The presentation was well received and we are looking forward to explore possible ways to collaborate in the future.
