Carine Verschueren ’21 (PhD), an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the International Comparative Education and Policy Analyst at the Center for Sustainable Futures, is the recipient of the 2022 Outstanding Graduate Student Paper Award from the Environmental Education Special Interest Group of the American Educational Research Association (AERA). The Award Committee recognized Carine’s recent publication: Local and global (f) actors in environmental and sustainability education policies: the case of New York City public schools (published in Environmental Education Research) for its important contribution to the literature.
