TC hosted comprehensive Earth Week events in 2024, focusing on research, education, and facilities. We held a panel on our CSF public opinion research, where Christina Torres talked about work she did related to perceptions on whole school approaches to sustainability. The TC facilities team held a sustainability town hall, where the community learned about the amazing upgrades that have been done throughout campus to make our campus operations more sustainable. We are impressed with Teachers College's strides towards LEED certification, and composting coming to campus in Fall 2024. Student, faculty, and staff were also treated to a sustainability scavenger hunt and planting party to bring the TC community together around sustainability. We are so proud that the student body is seeing sustainable efforts across the college.
