As we prepare to celebrate TC Impact Day, we are reflecting on the impact of our Center. Our mission is clear to “explore new ways to transform education through original research and the exchange of ideas to empower all people to solve global and local environmental challenges.” Through our collaborative efforts, we are making a significant impact on shaping more sustainable future(s).

We are a team of dedicated scholars that is at the forefront of developing innovative tools for teachers to integrate sustainability principles into their classrooms. By providing professional development workshops, resources, and ongoing support, we are empowering teachers to inspire and educate the next generation of environmental leaders.

In addition to our work with educators, we are deeply committed to engaging youth directly through hands-on learning experiences, environmental stewardship initiatives, and community-based projects. Through our “Youth at the Center” initiative we are fostering a sense of environmental responsibility and activism among young people, we are nurturing a new generation of changemakers who are passionate about creating a more sustainable world.

Furthermore, our research initiatives are driving meaningful change in sustainability education and policy. From exploring the intersection of social justice and sustainability to studying the effectiveness of different pedagogical approaches, our research is informing best practices and influencing decision-makers at all levels.
