The Center for Sustainable Futures, Sustainability Task Force at Teachers College, and the Columbia Law School Environmental Law Society are holding a special event titled, Creating a Climate Ed Culture: Strategies to Implement Climate Change in Research on March 11th, 2025 from 1-4pm. This is an in-person event at the Teachers College Smith Learning Theater.
This initiative will bring faculty, academics, and student practitioners from different academic disciplines together to discuss the intersection of climate change and their respective research areas, academic interests, and courses. The primary topics include climate change, climate justice, education for sustainable development, and environmental education. The aim is to provide skills and best practices for education related research to include aspects of climate solutions.
