How to Apply

Individuals


To apply to the Teaching Artist Community at Teachers College as an individual, you will need to complete the following steps:

  1. Familiarize yourself with the information on this website. Note that admission to the Certificate in Responsive Pedagogy program is for Teaching Artists with a minimum of 3 years experience in the field. Register Here if you are interested in speaking with one of the TAC@TC staff to learn more about the program.
  2. Complete an application, including a curriculum vitae and a cover letter that includes information on your personal artistry, teaching and working experience, and educational background. The cover letter should include a statement on why you are interested in joining the community.
  3. If applying for financial support, you must also include a statement of need in your cover letter. Financial support is granted on an individual basis. Apply Here.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Upon acceptance, participants must submit a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 to hold their place in the program. Applicants should make their deposit online via here

 

Organizations


Registration discounts are offered for organizations who enroll multiple teaching artists. Please email Claudia Cali to request more information on the application and enrollment process.

Registration Cost


The early application cost of the Certificate in the Responsive Pedagogy is $2,900 — apply by June 30th.

After June 30th, the registration cost of the Certificate in Responsive Pedagogy is $3,300.

Deposit of $500 due upon acceptance. Remaining program cost due by October 11, 2019.
