Effects of Biofeedback on Cough Rehabilitation in Parkinson’s Disease

Changes to swallowing and cough commonly co-occur in Parkinson's disease. The aim of this $40 paid study is to examine different approaches to increase cough in people with Parkinson's disease, which may help to reduce adverse health outcomes like aspiration pneumonia and improve quality of life.

Who Is This Study For? People with a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease.

Number of Visits: One in-person visit at our research lab at Columbia University (525 West 120th Street, New York, NY) lasting 2-hours.
