EVENTS
VRSC Annual Conference Aims:
- To bring together an interdisciplinary community of students, researchers, scholars, artists, and practitioners conducting visual research that aims to reveal, recognize, and re-center the voices, perspectives, and experiences of traditionally marginalized groups.
- To promote critical-activist work as a means of public engagement, to work toward social justice, and to foster a trans-disciplinary forum for social change, enabling marginalized voices, perspectives, and views to come center stage.
- To engage with and promote visual storytelling of local communities, museums, galleries, schools, artists, and practitioners that will have significant potential for creating a translational impact on social change.
