What is Teacher Opportunity Corps?

Teacher Opportunity Corps (TOC) is a program funded by a New York State Education Department grant. The program is designed to increase the number of underrepresented and economically disadvantaged individuals in the New York State teaching force.

We encourage prospective applicants to apply to TOC when they apply for TR@TC because we partner closely with them to align both experiences.

TR@TC/TOC participants receive an additional 6 tuition points (an $11,478 value for 2022-2023) and $2,000 in stipend support on top of their TR@TC financial support. Click here to learn more about the eligibility and application requirements.
